VCRD032 : Sugar by Black Alley is released. This is the first release from the Berlin based DJ/Producer/Remixer Thomas Pudell who produces under the moniker of Black Alley. The original mix is a cool and funky groover with an infectious hook and vibe. This package also comes with remixes from Mick Verma & QuestionmarQ. Verma's 'Shaggy' Remix brings a different flavour to the original with an upbeat tempo and style and added vocal samples for good measure. QuestionmarQ's remix takes elements of the original and brings a deep house club sound to the mix ideal for those late night sessions.

Re:Vision Volume 1 is the labels first compilation and a landmark 25th release from Vision Collective Recordings. This selection contains tracks from the labels first 20 releases and also includes a number of previously unreleased remixes exclusive to the release. The style of music in this compilation showcases the labels range with a catalogue that includes deep house and soulful house, tech house, indie dance/nu disco and downtempo chillout and breaks. To accompany this release the 'House It Goin' EP' has now been released digitally for the first time following a successful vinyl release in 2013.
The release gains widespread acclaim and numorous tracks receive airplay across a diverse range of specialist house and electronic radio shows and podcasts/mixes.

The four track EP features four deep and tech house tracks. "Freestylin" by John Collins, "To Live Is To Learn" by QuestionmarQ & Miss Motif, "Twisted" by Mick Verma and "Believe" by QuestionmarQ. All tracks get great support from club djs and specialist radio shows and podcasts in Europe, the U.S. and Australia.
The label hosts it's launch party for the release at the Pav Bar in Cork City with Mick Verma and QuestionmarQ doing a special vinyl set on the decks and were joined by special guest Miss Motif who performed a live vocal on 'To Live Is Learn' aswell as contributing with a great DJ set on the night.

Both mixes receive great feedback with support from Satellite Records (New York) who featured the track as a 'Hot Pick' and also from the house music website/blog "When We Dip" we give the release a great review. 'Roll With You' and 'Alone' get picked up by a number of djs and crop up on playlists on radio shows and podcasts in several countries including Jim 'Shaft' Ryan's 'International House Music Radio' show. 'Roll With You' is charted at No 1 by Marco Grandi (Hungary) on his Beatport Chart and is also featured by Christos Kedras (Los Angeles, USA) on his Resident Advisor chart
Started the year off with our Label Showcase Mix featured on Universal Vibes and on Dance On Red (Red FM) and later in the month our latest signing John Collins invited both Mick Verma and Marq Walsh (QuestionmarQ) to dj at his Brighter Days event in Cork City. Both Mick & Marq mixed up a great set including a number of their own productions and John treated us to some live reworks of tracks from his 'Introspective EP'
We also enjoyed continued support during the month with a number of our tracks featuring on a wide range of quality podcasts and radio shows.
